Wiley leak

UK based Grime artist Wiley has been so kind as to leak the music he's been recording for the last 8 months. And lots of it. Over 200 tracks worth. Demos, finished song and his entire album that was due to be released in September titled "The Elusive".

All this is now available for download via www.grimeforum.com.

Pringle Of Scotland

Pringle of Scotland has launched their Spring/Summer 2010 campaign with this short film featuring Tilda Swinton. Directed by Ryan McGinley, "[He] photographed and filmed Swinton in iconic Scottish locations for the campaign, which demonstrates the class and edge of both photographer and actress, perfectly in synch with the brand’s latest direction. This collaboration is the first in a series of creative projects planned for the brand with the aim of promoting Scotland’s renewed cultural surge."

Music: Little Boots

I was listening to some Little Boots this weekend and realized I probably hadn't blogged about her on here. So I present to you...Little Boots!


She's a British electro pop sensation at the moment. She was actually on Pop Idol when she was 16, but now the hipsters have taken her up as their own. She's even collaborated with Hot Chip. Here's a video of her perfoming her track Meddle in her bedroom. It solidifies how mesmerizing she is.

Artist: Johnny Kelly

Johnny Kelly was born in Ireland and now works and resides in the UK. He's an animator and illustrator who does some phenomenal work with paper. Creating these vibrant sculptures and then capturing them with photographs. First is a mask commissioned by Don't Panic.



And here is an amazing mask that I wish I could wear around all the time. My superhero name would be BAR GRAPH. Intimidating.

She Dreamed a Dream

Chances are on the way to work this morning you heard something about Susan Boyle, a volunteer church worker from Blackburn, Scotland. The 47-year-old sweetheart was a contestant on Britain's Got Talent, a reality talent show in the UK.

Ms. Boyle is perfect lesson as to why you should never judge a book by its cover. She surpassed the audience's snickering to blow away the crowd:

Life's For Sharing: T Mobile

How much do you wish you were in Liverpool Street Station in January?!!

T Mobile's Life's For Sharing Campaign [2009] kicked off with 350 dancers secretly and strategically placed around London's Liverpool Street Station, who busted out into dance as soon as music started blaring across the concourse. The ad was filmed by 10 secret cameras on January 15th, and aired on Channel 4 on the morning of January 16th, 2009, going on for a decent run on Youtube.

The idea is nothing new - we've seen staged breakouts like this from Improv Everywhere in New York [remember Grand Central Station in 2008? Click here to view] and even our own little Subway Dance Party here in the T Dot, but lack of originality doesn't make it any less fun.

I propose we learn the moves and meet up at Union Station... anyone?

Bombay Bicycle Club are an indie rock band to the core. They even started their own label Mmm...Records releasing their first two EPs under the name. Art: Monsters

Idea Generation Gallery out of the UK will running a show titled "Inside the minds of The Gods of Monsters" from April 8th until May 4th 2009. The exhibition will showcase more than 100 monster images outlining the development of monster illustrations from the minds of their creators, to the sketch pads, all the way to the gallery wall.

An 800 square foot wall piece will be shown of Pete Fowler's surreal and pyschadelic Monsterism Island. Who wants to fly me to the UK? Oh...no one?
