Kaws & Original Fake

The much anticipated Kaws 4 Feet Dissected Companion Original Fake Black Version toy has been announced. Over the last months we have seen several teasers and today we can give you a release date for the Original Fake Tokyo flagship store. The black Dissected Companion will go on sale on December 19th.

I find myself reverting back to a kid that wants to collect toys more and more these days.

KAWS HALLOWEEN ornaments

Continuing with their Halloween Series, OriginalFake create a new version of their hanging ornament, originally spotted last year during the Mark Dean Veca exhibition. This time around, KAWS’ companion is featured in a black/orange color scheme within a skeleton motif. Look for this to soon become available through various OriginalFake retailers.

KAWS/Hajime Sorayama

Set to release this Saturday in Tokyo, KAWS has teamed up with Medicom Toys and Hajime Sorayama to create this little masterpiece.

The new Original Fake 4 Feet Dissected Companion by Kaws is coming out soon. The oversized toy is made for the 3rd anniversary of the clothing brand, a joint venture between artist Kaws and Medicom Toy. Some privileged among us already seem to have gotten their toy and therefore we can give you a more detailed look.

List: 100 Most Creative People In Business

HP has put together a list of the 100 Most Creative People in Business. Featuring artists Damien Hirst and KAWS in their list of people from varying industries.

I was really happy to see Music Supervisor Alex Patsavas make the list at number 29. She's been picking music for show's like Grey's Anatomy, The OC and movies like Twilight. Now she's been given her own record label to keep doin' what she do. She's brought the music supervision game to a 'celebrity' level. I was at a conference where she was on a panel a couple years ago, and they had to get security to manage the crowds wanting to hand her their music after she was done speaking. Seriously.
