Reporter are a three piece from Portland, Oregon doing what I am really happy to describe as Goth Disco. I'm sure comparisons can easily be drawn from Crystal Castles latest album. But these guys don't seem like they'd spit in your face...and I like that.

Interesting?
After my post on Tim & Jean yesterday a reader sent through a video suggesting there may be some plagerism by the band of an earlier Similou song from 2007. Now, we see these accusations come up regularly these days in music. You can't get away with ANYTHING. Doesn't necessarily mean they are true.
But there are the cases where artists blatantly rip off artists (i.e. Timbaland with 50 Cent's "Ayo Technology" sampling Crystal Castles)
Anyways, it's interesting if nothing else.

They look like...Crystal Castles.
They sound like...Crystal Castles.
They're an electronic duo from Bordeaux, France. Known for their wild vocals and electronic metal mixes. Sound familiar? Well, they've been around long before Crystal Castles. There probably just isn't room for both.
