Music: Miami Horror

Here's some Thursday electro by way of Australia. Where apparently 90% of good dance music is born these days. This is some more great electro from Miami Horror, a 20 year old our of Melbourne. Think Justice or Daft Punk. Which I guess should be the obligatory reference somewhere in any electro anyways. He's into the remix game too, tackling Pnau, Datarock and Midnight Juggernauts.

Film: Part of the Weekend Never Dies

There was obviously a blip in the space/time continuum. I'd never seen this trailer or heard of this doc before. Luckily for the internet, there should be a copy on its way to me now.

To get an idea of what will be contained in this DVD, besides appearances by Busy P, Justice, Tiga, Erol Alkan, among others. I can quote Soulwax as saying:

“Where the Beastie Boys filmed one gig with 50 cameras, we filmed 120 shows with one camera in Europe, Japan, US, Latin America and Australia”

Do That Dance.

Here's a look at the new Club Coke bottle design. Club Coke is an exclusive line available only at the best clubs around the world. For the 5th anniversary there was a collaboration on the design between Justice and Ed Banger creative director So Me. All made in aluminium, it was launched in Paris last night with a performance by Justice. The bottle is red during the day and then glows in the dark at night!

When I look into your eyes I see the future

I present to you the Lemur Input Device by JazzMutant. My knowledge of this equipment is limited. But my iPhone is a touch screen and I still can't wrap my mind around that. Justice and Daft Punk use these customizable multi-touch pads to control their synthesizers. And the minds of youth on the dancefloor.
