Music: HATCHMATIK

I first came across Montreal's HATCHMATIK with his insanely good remix of Animal Collective's "My Girls". It made me a fan. He's also done official remixes for the likes of Thunderheist, Yo Majesty, MIA, Chromeo, and Kanye West. The word got to me too late that he was in town on the weekend playing a Peer Pressure party at the Drake Underground with A-Rock. I found this out 1 hour after the show finished. DAMN YOU 2010! Thunderheist for Karmaloop TV

MSTRKRFT "Bounce" on Jimmy Kimmel

MSTRKRFT appeared on Jimmy Kimmel this week performing their song Bounce. It's amazing on a lot of levels. I think first is Isis from Thunderheist. She's a star!! Then N.O.R.E. checking his texts while performing. Really?? Word is that he actually updates his Twitter while he performs. I haven't investigated that any further, but I really don't think it's necessary to.
