We had the pleasure of working on this job with the wonderful folks at ReThink in Toronto and Vancouver.  An original music score was created for both French and English and we're quite thrilled with the end result!

"Find Your Voice" TA2 Hosts Voiceover Workshop

Ever wanted to try your luck at voiceing commercials? Don't know where to start? Now you do.

Find your voice is an extensive six-week long workshop for those wishing to enter the world of voiceover and for those looking to sharpen their skills. 

The course includes:  

-guidance from professionals currently working in the industry 

-an inside look at the business of voice 

-practical experience with one of Toronto's premiere voice artists 

-small classes and one-on-one instruction by Jason Deline

-a guide to the advertising process from script to screen 

-a broadcast quality voice demo 

-recordings produced at Tattoo Sound + Music 

Jason Deline has spent over ten years honing his skills as a voice artist.  He's worked at several radio stations, including EZ Rock and KISS 92, as an on air announcer, creative director and producer.  His TV and radio voice portfolio includes Mitsubishi, Coca Cola, Rickard's White, Rona, Party Poker and Rogers.  He is also the voice of Drago in the Teletoon production Bakugan Battle Brawlers.

The Story:  Adrian and his four friends don't quite fit in anyplace, but the garage, where the frustrations of school, bullies and your usual teen angst can be drowned out with guitars, drums and vocals.

We received a really nice shout out as well below from Sam in his interview with canadiananimationresources.ca!

"The music.  Ta2 Music is a studio I was introduced to while directing my first Snap, Crackle, Pop! commercial. The first thing that I noticed about Steve Gadsden (from Ta2 Music) was that he had a fiery passion similar to mine. He keeps himself very busy with compelling projects and can rock out like it's nobodys business.  He's very good at what he does..."

Seven Years Short Film

Seven Years is a short film that our studio had the pleasure of being a part of. 

Filmmaker Larry Bain and his short film recently won the Royal Reel Award for filmmaking and screenwriting at the 2012 Canada International Film Festival in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

Seven Years boasts a talented cast and crew with a big budget look filled with quirky and unique characters, and original music. Starring Kevin Jubinville as Stan, a successful businessman that is cursed with seven years of bad luck.  Co-starring Shauna MacDonald, Tim Post, Stephen Bogaert, Lina Roessler, Paul Amos, Anna Cyzon, Alli Chung, Aris Athanasopoulos, and Neil Whitely.  

The film was produced by 2BAD4U Production in association with Naomi Media.

Post production sound design and mix was completed at our studio. 

Seven Years is written, directed and produced by Larry Bain for 2BAD4U Productions.  The film is executive produced by Plato Fountidakis for Naomi Media, cinematography by Peter Benison, edited by Steve Kelly, original music composed by Jim McGrath, sound recorded by David Ottier, post-production sound design and mix by Omie Craden.

Canada, 2012, 11 minutes.

We just wrapped this fun interactive project for Kelloggs with LeoBurnett Toronto.  
Oh yeah, we did the TV as well.  We think it's pretty neat.

Kardinal Offishall in the Studio

Little taste of what's been shakin' at the studio lately.  Last night Kardinal Offishall and his crew shot a portion of his and Nottz Raw's forthcoming album "A.M.T.I.M" (Allow Me to introduce Myself). The project is due to drop on February 29th.  

We had such a blast and Kardi created a new cocktail for us "The TA2".  Awe shucks isn't that nice.  We love you too Kardi! 

So, keep your eyes open and turn your headphones up!
