Ta2 Gallery: Brett Despotovich
The work of Toronto artist Brett Despotovich really intrigued me when I first saw some pieces from his Help Meat series. Now I am fortunate enough to see these beautiful works every day on the walls of our in house gallery. Come by and check them for yourself if you haven't already.

Star Wars Episode 7: Adidas Sweet Feet

I have to admit that this match seems as bizarre as Justin Timberlake and Rihanna, but whatever floats your boat. Adidas and Star Wars have teamed up to launch a new line of shoes named after favorite characters, set to be released in 2010. More info here.

LET'S TRASH THE PLACE
The Dutch artist Zeger Reyers' installation "Rotating Kitchen" is a kitchen that rotates slowly and will continue to do so through February, its objects let loose in the containing cube. It's part of the program "Eating the Universe. Food in Art." at Germany’s Kunsthalle Düsseldorf that features a whole series of exhibits, performances, and lectures centered around food art. Closes February 28th, 2010. See the videos that include a behind-the-scenes and a closeup view:

I'm kind of fascinated by this. I think it's catering to my destructive side.
