"Blues in D" started as Dylan and Cody Ellis on lead guitars, Tura Cousins-Wilson on drums and Ben McPhee rocking the vocals, bass and rhythm guitar.
On June 13th, 2008, the band suffered a terrible loss. Dylan Ellis and Oliver Martin were gunned down in their vehicle while idling at Richmond and Walnut St. in Toronto. After such a tragic event the band changed their name from "The BDC Blues Band" to "Blues in D" in honour of their former friend and band member. The band now consists of Cody Ellis, Jeff Bader, Andrei Zagorevski, Tura Cousins-Wilson, and Ben McPhee.
Their recent EP "Leaving Houston was produced, mixed and engineered by Dan Horton here at Tattoo.
It showcases their raw, passionate and bluesy roots.
Check out their songs here.

In addition, The Futureless brings us their electronic pop and progressive electro noir song "Future Perfect", Jess Hill's "Stagger" with her ever present banjo and sultry vocals, Sweet Thing's infectious pop tune "Lazy Susan", The Bone Devil's punk/rockabilly self titled track "The Bone Devil", and The Consonance's "Song for my City" off their new EP.
